Fawn’s soaps celebrate Canadian culture, heritage and life with a focus on Manitoba grown products. Crafted by hand using real, locally grown fruit, veggies, herbs and spices including alfalfa from her stomping grounds of Tolstoi, St. Pierre Joly’s very own maple syrup, nourishing clays and pure essential oils, Fawn’s fine-arts degree comes into full play with her beautiful, artistic soaps.
Several soaps celebrate Fawn’s own Metis culture and our Indigenous heritage including “Waawatee” (Ojibway for Northern Lights, “Metis Pride” and local landmarks like “St. Malo Beach”, “Crow Wing Trail among and her newest, “Sand Between My Toes” in honour of Manitoba’s many beautiful lakes and beaches. Not only do Love Built soaps look like pure art – they are kind to your skin and with zero waste, they’re also kind to our planet.
Each product comes in a hand-sewn reusable cotton drawstring soap saver-scrubby bag made by Epic SMILE in St. Malo, and products containing shea or cocoa butter are from an organization that employs women in Ghana with fair-trade employment. When you purchase Love Built products you are sharing the love locally and globally!
As well as all natural soaps, Love Built products also include all Natural Deodorants with pure essential oils (a little dab will do you), Body Butters that are naturally scented with shea and cocoa butter and smell deliciously like chocolate and can be used on your face, hands and all over your body or as massage lotion and lip balm!
Tub Teas are a new and lesser-known product that again, like all other Love Built products is made naturally with Epson salts, pure essential oils and a collection of Manitoba buds, herbs and spices gathered locally or grown in Fawn’s Garden. Just pop the bag with some of the tub tea straight into your bath where the salts will soak through the natural cotton and the buds stay inside.
